10. antiques are undervalued according to my own valuation, which is based on a metric related to craftsmanship and uniqueness.
9. the story we are told is most likely far from the actual truth and often written by the victor.
8. there’s great beauty in tragedy which cannot be communicated with words easily.
7. writing your thoughts is different than speaking them. there’s something magical about stream of consciousness writing on pen and paper.
6. Often the real answers are not found and answers at all, but in the asking the right questions. ironically, once you know the right questions to ask, you’ll probably know the answers too.
5. you can learn from anyone and everyone has some wisdom to impart to the world which is revealed only to them. sometimes those people aren’t easy to listen to.
4. you should build a mental refuge to shelter you in times of tragedy. get comfortable being uncomfortable.
3. self confidence comes from making the right decisions, from confirmation within your own soul that you made those decisions autonomously.
2. many have been persecuted for their untimely intelligence, don’t let this stop you from innovating.
